After Sunday’s releases of the Fall season, time to check out the animes that are being aired on Monday. Just to name them, they are Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~, Tokimeki Memorials ~Only Love~ and Pumpkin Scissors. Since we all know Black Lagoon is a 2nd season, I’ll not mention it.

Even though Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~ wasn’t one of the shows that I was actually interested, I actually just gave it a go. Actually this show reminds me of Lemon Angel Project. Well, on to my impression of the show. It was not too bad and it did reminds me of Lemon Angel Project alot. The OP and ED wasn’t really appealing and not only that, the show started off with about 6 minutes of songs. Either ways, I’m not keen on watching on but might just if I have nothing else better to do.

More of this and I’ll consider watching.

As for Tokimeki Memorials, being on my watchlist, it was a good start. Love the girls, but haven’t picked a favourite of the 3 yet. Just by looking, perhaps Mina. The OP is nice but too bad the ED couldn’t have made it a good combination.

And now off to Pumpkin Scissors. It’s the weird title that got me interested. Not to forget Aris who’s the only female and because she’s cool. For the OP and ED, the OP was good and last time I heard Takahashi Youko’s song was the ED for Shakugan no Shana. The fast tempo is always nice in a way. Not to forget, GONZO really did a good job on the animation for this episode. Hopfully, it’ll be that way for the rest. There isn’t much military based animes recently too so this would be something refreshing.

Alright. I went to watch first 2 animes that were released for the Fall season and they had 1 thing in common which kinna ruined my Sunday. They have lolis going “Nanoda!!!”. Is it just me, or is this going be some trend somehow? I gotta admit I did went “Nanoda!!!” at times to annoy people in the AnimeNano IRC channel like how DrmChrs0 would go “Desu!!!” to the people in Your-Mom IRC channel. Anyway, the 2 animes are Galaxy Angel II and Kin Iro no Chord ~Primo Passo~.

As for the my first impression of these shows, I gotta say, it wasn’t good. I had a tough time trying to watch Kin Iro no Chord ~Primo Passo~ and couldn’t take it. Small angel-like things that doesn’t look like either male nor female flying around going “Nanoda!!!” isn’t my thing. Perhaps its just the classical music that isn’t my cup of tea.

As for Galaxy Angel II, it was funny in a way, but the OP of the girls shaking like lunatics kind of turn me off and reminds me of Magikano. They even tried to do some fanservice with Nano-Nano Pudding which is all so wrong. Lolicon lovers might like this show perhaps, but not me.

Just a note, these 2 shows were not in my Watch List for the Fall season but I just tried to watch it to give it a try. I guess I wasn’t wrong to exclude them out of the list. So I’m dropping Kin Iro no Chord ~Prima Passo~ but as for Galaxy Angel II, I guess I’ll see how it turns out after a few more episodes since there is humour in it.
