Well well~ This would be the last of the review I’m doing about the new season releases. Sorry for taking so long but I’ve been rather busy.

So on Saturdays, I was actually interested in Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru and Katekyo Hitman REBORN! But since Katekyo Hitman REBORN isn’t released for download viewing, I’ll be watching only Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru.

Alright, just by looking at the picture, I was expecting it to be some yuri kind of show or something, but I was so so wrong! ＿|￣|○

The main character Mizuho is a nice guy who was born in a good family, smart, and moral. But one day, he has to transfer to a girl’s high school by his grandfather’s last will. Then, he has to disguise like a girl to go to the school…

Yeah.. so like what the? And he looks so pretty and all, if you didn’t noticed that “she” was a guy in the first place.

I love the OP so much! That where I first find Mizuho pretty. And after 2 minutes and 30 seconds, I felt something suspicious when I saw the title of the first episode and after that… I snapped. >.<

Not too sure about yuri… but what I really liked about the show was the chibis! Damn they are so adorable and cute!

Alright. This would be a short post since on Fridays, I don’t really have new shows to watch besides Kujibiki Unbalance. Then again, the show isn’t that appealing. But since I have nothing to do, I might as well give it a show.

For those who don’t know what it is, it’s actually the anime that the characters in Genshikien watches. The OP was quite good and the ED is not too bad. I’m a little disappointed with this episode though, but I’ll keep on watching and see how it’s like when the Chairman gets more involved.

Now for the second part of whereby I’ll over the following shows such as Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!, Happiness! and Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~.

Of these 3, I think I liked Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~ followed by Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!. I wasn’t really impressed by Happiness! though…

Starting off with Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!, the opening was quite surprising with a confession. Ayako sure is pretty and all.

Mitsuki is also very sweet and looking at her toss the photos. If only it was replaced with pictures of Feena. Seems like she’s always selling off Ayako’s picture.

Anyway, how I wished I was Mamoru. So are shoutas the “in” thing for girls these days? Hmm…

Oh yeah~ No OP for this the first episode but the ED was quite good. It’s real cheerful and has a nice beat.

Next up it’s Happiness!. Frankly speaking, I wasn’t really looking forward to watching this but somehow many people I know were quite interested and I thought I might as well check it out since the others were doing the same. I mean, there’s no harm watching anyway.

Lastly, it’s Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~. It starts off with a flashback of two childhood friends. Seems like this is another show with childhood friends and such. It’s then followed by Haruhiko waking up with Kirino there. And Kirino shows off her new uniform and taking a spin whereby Haruhiko managed to see her pantsu. Kirino is so cute! And the voice sounds familiar!!! Yes! It’s Miyazaki Ui! She hasn’t really done much voice acting yet but a few I can name are Aisia from DCSS, which is very obvious and of course Orica from Ar Tonelico. It’s a little weird to see Kirino with that voice somehow since I’m always reminded of Aisia.

And so while waiting for Kirino to get her bag, Haruhiko gets kidnapped by a girl dressed up like a witch flying on a broom. After screaming for awhile, he saw pantsu for the second time but with a price to pay.

Anyway, Haruhiko and Kirino got back togehher and went to school and another character is introduced. This time, it’s Rinka and hot, ass-kicking girl. Of course, pantsu is revealed once again. Just look at Haruhiko’s face.

Perhaps this is my most favourite character. Somehow I like these kind of girls. Nice body, nice looks, hot moves.

Moving on, they met the same witchgirl but of course Haruhiko doesn’t know even though he finds them familiar somehow. She’s Chisa. Haruhiko isn’t cut out to be cool. He tries too hard.

I’ll not talk much about the plot then, but towards to end, the appearance of the childhood friend! Yes, we get pantsu shot of her with the wind blowing at her. Oh! She’s Riko.

Once again no OP for this episode but I love the ED so much! Its sung by Fujiya Misato and this is my first time I’ve heard her songs. I’ll be looking forward to the next episode.

Well~ It’s kinna late I gotta admit. I just have not enough time to watch it since I’m busy. The shows I was interested in are shows like Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!, Kanon (2006), CODE Geass: Lelouch Of The Rebellion, Happiness!, Sumomo mo Momo mo ~Chijou Saikyou no Yome~ and Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~.

I’ll just briefly go through with what I think. But since I’ve not seen some of them, I’ll cover some of the others first. When I’ve seen the others, namely  Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!, Happiness! and Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~, I’ll review about it.

First up, for Kanon (2006), the animation and sound are superb. Compared to the orginal one, it sure it alot more better (what the heck am I saying anyway, it’s obvious, isn’t it?) and the animation reminds me of AIR. The OP was quite sweet and nice. As for the ED, it was good too and if I had to choose one, I’ll prefer the ED. Comparing AIR to Kanon, which is better? Gao~ or Uguu~?

Next up would be CODE Geass: Lelounch Of The Rebellion. Damn, this show rocks. I love the OP and of course the ED rocks too. I’m definately gonna continue watching this series until something really disappointing crops up. For now, let’s enjoy this nice wallpaper, made by Ningen.

Now… One of the longest title with repeating words such as “mo”. Sumomo mo Momo mo~Chijou Saikyou no Yume~. This show is just so cute!!! The OP and ED is quite good but its the humour that cracks me up. Trying to do something sexual with a loli is just so wrong but it’s hilarious in this case.

This are what all loli lovers dream for. So… pedophiles viewing this, please control yourselves.

I’ll cover the other shows as soon as I watched them. For now, this are what I’m watching for Thursdays.

Checked out Today Online today after Lost- told me about an article about a maid cafe being opened in Singapore. It will be officially opened next month at Far East Shopping Centre. But first… TOO BAD TSUBAKI!!! Someone beat you to it!!!

Wednesday’s is the best days for me since there’s shows like Negima!?, Busou Renkin and Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro na ~Crescent Moon~! All hail to the girls in Negima!? such as Maki, Busou Renkin’s Tsumura and NOT FORGETTING… FEENA FAM EARTHLIGHT FROM YORI RURI IRO NA ~CRESCENT MOON~!!! I headed down to Urban Attic and I was told that from tomorrow on, whatever new stocks that comes into the shop will be sold at a low cost! YES! Much cheaper than any other places you can find! Why so? They are just gonna divide the cost of the figurine by 100, change the ¥ to SG$ and sell it!!!

An example would be something like this.

A figurine is priced at ¥10000, and so you just have to pay SG$100 for it!

For the releases of Tuesday, it would be one of the best days since shows from Shounen Jump are actually on air now. I’ll be covering D.Gray-man, DEATH NOTE and Ghost Hunt which also explains the title of my post.Let’s start off with D.Gray-man. Acutally, I first got to know the series from a H-doujin that I got. It was about Rinali and I got amazed by the cover page. With that, I took a peek at the manga and found it pretty good. And yes, I’m a Rinali fanboy. XD

Not only that, the promo poster was really appealing too!

D.Gray-man

Alright. So I checked out the first episode. Frankly speaking, I was amazed by the OP of it. The song is done well and the sequence was terrific. The ED was good too, but I prefered the OP. Basically, it about “Exorist” exterminating “Akumas”. Ah who cares, I just want to see Rinali, even though she only appeared in the OP and ED for now.

Now… Off to DEATH NOTE. DEATH NOTE is one of the well-known mangas currently and here in Singapore, its quite a hit since the live-action movie will be out in a few weeks time or so too. For a rough sypnosis, its about the battle between 2 geniuses, Raito Yagami and L. Basically, Raito picked up a Death Note that enables him to kill people whenever he writes the victims name in it and L is suppose to investigate and stop him.

Wish I could have the Death Note, but with the exception of seeing the Death Gods. Sheez!

The Death Gods are damn ugly but there’s a partcular one that I saw that really cracked me up. So… behold!!!

Oh yeah~ The OP and ED went well with each other. The song is still quite alright, but I still prefer D.Gray-Man’s OP.

Alright, for Ghost Hunt, it’s quite interesting somehow. Basically about a guy who has an interest in the supernatural. The OP and ED aren’t really songs. It’s just music but it gives a very good atmosphere for the show. The OP give you the feeling of some suspense and yet feels like there’s some adventure in it. The ED was smoothing and calm which is why I prefer this to the OP.

Eh? So… Being a weirdo makes you popular?

Basically, D.Gray-Man and DEATH NOTE is a must watch for me. As for Ghost Hunt, I’ll have to see about it since I wasn’t really impressed.

After Sunday’s releases of the Fall season, time to check out the animes that are being aired on Monday. Just to name them, they are Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~, Tokimeki Memorials ~Only Love~ and Pumpkin Scissors. Since we all know Black Lagoon is a 2nd season, I’ll not mention it.

Even though Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~ wasn’t one of the shows that I was actually interested, I actually just gave it a go. Actually this show reminds me of Lemon Angel Project. Well, on to my impression of the show. It was not too bad and it did reminds me of Lemon Angel Project alot. The OP and ED wasn’t really appealing and not only that, the show started off with about 6 minutes of songs. Either ways, I’m not keen on watching on but might just if I have nothing else better to do.

More of this and I’ll consider watching.

As for Tokimeki Memorials, being on my watchlist, it was a good start. Love the girls, but haven’t picked a favourite of the 3 yet. Just by looking, perhaps Mina. The OP is nice but too bad the ED couldn’t have made it a good combination.

And now off to Pumpkin Scissors. It’s the weird title that got me interested. Not to forget Aris who’s the only female and because she’s cool. For the OP and ED, the OP was good and last time I heard Takahashi Youko’s song was the ED for Shakugan no Shana. The fast tempo is always nice in a way. Not to forget, GONZO really did a good job on the animation for this episode. Hopfully, it’ll be that way for the rest. There isn’t much military based animes recently too so this would be something refreshing.

Alright. I went to watch first 2 animes that were released for the Fall season and they had 1 thing in common which kinna ruined my Sunday. They have lolis going “Nanoda!!!”. Is it just me, or is this going be some trend somehow? I gotta admit I did went “Nanoda!!!” at times to annoy people in the AnimeNano IRC channel like how DrmChrs0 would go “Desu!!!” to the people in Your-Mom IRC channel. Anyway, the 2 animes are Galaxy Angel II and Kin Iro no Chord ~Primo Passo~.

As for the my first impression of these shows, I gotta say, it wasn’t good. I had a tough time trying to watch Kin Iro no Chord ~Primo Passo~ and couldn’t take it. Small angel-like things that doesn’t look like either male nor female flying around going “Nanoda!!!” isn’t my thing. Perhaps its just the classical music that isn’t my cup of tea.

As for Galaxy Angel II, it was funny in a way, but the OP of the girls shaking like lunatics kind of turn me off and reminds me of Magikano. They even tried to do some fanservice with Nano-Nano Pudding which is all so wrong. Lolicon lovers might like this show perhaps, but not me.

Just a note, these 2 shows were not in my Watch List for the Fall season but I just tried to watch it to give it a try. I guess I wasn’t wrong to exclude them out of the list. So I’m dropping Kin Iro no Chord ~Prima Passo~ but as for Galaxy Angel II, I guess I’ll see how it turns out after a few more episodes since there is humour in it.
