Shakugan no Shana Anime Guide Book With Special DVD

Ok~ I said I was gonna mention more about this so here it is. Basically, I grabbed this copy of the guide book and it’s really a good buy. The pages are mostly coloured, and there’s a DVD with it. Oh yeah, the DVD looks nice indeed. =D

Opening up, there’s 2 posters back to back which looked nice.

Oh yeah, regarding the DVD, if you were to watch it on your PC, remember to set the DVD region to 2. Ok~ It basically contains:

1) Itadaki no Hecate-tan
2) 2 movie promos of the Shakagun no Shana movie
3) Anime explanation and recap of the anime.
4) Seiyuu interview

I liked the interview and it was really interested though I don’t really understand most of it. =X

Comparing this to the previous guide I got, it somewhat looks the same, but take note. This particular one is the anime guidebook whereas the other was the novel’s one.

Just putting it side by side so that you can compare. =)

Worth the money to actually buy and collect it if you ask me. =D

I appreciate the ability of the artists, I have trouble drawing circles, so hats off to them. But I’ve always wondered why this media is so accepted. The girls always look like they’re twelve years old, and more often than not they’re either in a school uniform or a bikini. They’re drawn very suggestively and vulnerable. I’d be interested to see what would happen if someone had a photo of 12 year old girl, scantily dressed, with a shocked and vulnerable look on her face. So why is it acceptable when its drawn? I don’t get it. Someone out there wanna explain this
