The Ugly Side Revealed By Someone From Cosafe
Yes. I’m quite shocked to actually see this. Apparantly, this person, who claims to be Julia, which I do this is her, posted some interesting comments that caught my attention.
So here’s her comment to Zer0 at his post about the cafe.

Hi everyone..yes it is Julia here…whichever it is…for better or worse.I have gone through your analysis and VERY PLEASED to know that we are on the same frequency…Many wonder why “I dont see Julia at the cafe?”
LOLX….yes…because to me…for a point…it became hopeless (read ALL the comments posted above)….We strayed away from our main ideas…our main setup…our REAL meido cafe…
For the sake of Class, Floyd and Ferlyn rushed too fast into it…despite me warning them not to open too fast…and everything in there was , truthly not even half of what I had planned.Who was the brainchild of the idea?…I wonder.
Ferlyn ,who has never served others in her life, now serving pax everyday.
Floyd, who has never been in the F&B line, nor in the service industry.
Michelle, who has proved herself to be a very good waitress, but a totally non-existent manager.
That leaves…me? to do the job?I can if i wanted to.
But given the circumstances….
It will take my TRIPLE the effort to bring back all that you have mentioned. ^^
To be honest, I am WELL AWARE totally of all the things we lacked.
Including, the thing that cafes are cafes, and restaurants are restaurants..
Including the fact that meido cafes arent suppose to run on such heavy menus (Floyd got wayy carried away with that one)
And the fact that…red tape was issued to me from their families…and I couldnt get half of my design work done..look at the surroundings….its horrendous.
As for why I look unhappy? lolz…nah…it was just chaos that day..
And I warned them….badly…not to open. Despite all costs…
U can save 1 month and 1 day, for the costs…
But you lose the reputation to hold you for a year.
Well…I was really tired that day…because it seems I was the only one handling the serving.
And training to the girls were just a simple “okaerinasai” ??
I seriously highly doubted their abilities to train the girls…and when prodded over and over…all their reply to me was “its ok Ju, its ok”
Well,..i had enough ^^
And its time i get back and punch some sense into their senseless minds.
Senseless about service, senseless about their menus, senseless about girls’ training and medio cafe systems and services.
Thanks for all negative but definitely constructive comments so far. ^^ They have been my greatest teachers.

It can remain cutesy and still run a business.
That is IF you know your stuff….
Apparently, the concept lies with me, along with the standards I wanted to impose.
They belived things can be left at mid-way, and they can still get away with it….which was their greatest mistake of course.
And now apparently to everyone, and nearly to the whole world, they dont know their stuff.
I am wondering if it is really worth the effort to bring it back?
Pls note one thing:

Its just daughter, Ferlyn.
Julia (me) comes from a Poor as hell family. =)
I ran this all on my own, with cooperation coming from Ferlyn’s family.
Yes I am blessed to see my ideas come out of paper to life.
But, well, when it isnt your money, somethings just cant be done your way, even when you know its for the best. =)
And as for payment?
well now, I dun think someone like me who hasnt placed in a single cent, except for all my intellect property, will expect much to come out of it yea? When the shareholders are inching in everything now? =)
As for learning experience, hardly. I have worked in places demanding of high standards.
How does the singapore airlines/ airport sound? Maybe thats what made me a perfectionist. Never had a chance to put what i learnt into practice,

My partners’ misjudgement…and I warned them…

and I have been the only one doing almost all the serving.
And called into my role less than 15mins in advance by my partners who were too full of themselves. Everything u saw there was not even half of what was planned to be done.
If you havent noticed, there hasnt been a grand opening yet.
When that grand opening is nearing- I will personally send an invitation for you here.

once I am done revamping everything that were more or less destroyed to this point =).

I walked past it a few days ago and it never felt like a cafe to me, nor a restaurant. The prices are simply too high. A range of $5-20 would be good but I’m seeing things that exceed $30!

WoW… Thats really sad news, but she is open and honest about the whole situation. Some ideas may look brilliant on the outside but there is always a catch on the inside. It would be a shame if they closed it down though. Ahwell lets pray for the best.

well… as far as keeping up with appearances go… if it’s supposed to be a joint effort, it’s a joint effort. failure does not allow excuses. if it’ll work, good. if it still doesn’t, we’ll know who couldn’t deliver the talk. make everything promised happen. then we’ll see.

I felt that I don’t need to hear abt julia’s unhappiness with ferlyn or whoever it is. She didn’t seem like she tried to solve the problem but blames them instead. If this is a drama, I want some actions.

lol…hi everyone its me again here on this blog.
thanks once again for your comments and very pleased to annouce that our patronage has increased more than 70% over the past 3weeks.
Sorry for the lack of space…but there really is just that much a cafe can hold ^O^…
You will also see if you head down on the first week of february the full extent of changes i made to everything there in the cafe…as well as to imcooperate the “moe~” culture and anime business into our cafe.

too bad you didnt like my transparency (that is educating to a point)…and perhaps you just aint fit enough to be educated perhaps.
