Shrine Maiden Rin & COSPA Nagato Yuki Mug

It’s been almost half a year since I planned to get a Shrine Maiden Rin for myself to go with the other plushies. Of course I’ve also gotten the normal Rin to go with her. All thanks to Shia for squeezing through a horde of FYG in Japan to get it for me. And he also got me a Nagato Yuki Mug! I’m so happy now as a Nagato Yuki fanboy!

Happy White Day To All!

Wishing everyone a Happy White Day. Guys, it’s time to return the favour to the girls!

So what is White Day???

White Day is a growing tradition that was created through a concentrated marketing effort in Japan. White Day is celebrated in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and some other East Asian countries on March 14, one month after Valentine’s Day. On Valentine’s Day, women give gifts to men; on White Day, men who received chocolate on Valentine’s Day return the favor and give gifts to women. This holiday is starting to gain popularity in Hong Kong, where Japanese influence is strong. The observance of Valentine’s Day in Japan, particularly among students, is somewhat different than in the West. Valentine’s day is mainly for the girls to present chocolates (either store-bought or handmade) to the boy of their choice. The concept of “Giri-Choco” (Japanese: 義理チョコ), which translates as “Obligatory Chocolate”, has also developed, where a girl will give chocolate to those close to her (co-workers, for example) but in whom she has no romantic interest. When White Day rolls around, it is the boy’s turn to return the gift in what is called “sanbai-gaeshi” (3倍返し) or “triple return”, since the gift the boy gives is supposed to be three times the value of the gift received initially.

Since everyone is into music lately and with the upcoming rise of a music blog by Xak and Crest, I decided to ask TJ some questions about bass, treble and tips on how to set EQs to enhance the music. Seem like the terms got a little… Mixed up…

Construction Of The Zegapain Altair (Part 3)

Well~ I was staring around in my room when I realised that I never finished up this particular post. Just want to say that it’s been fixed up a long time ago but it’s just that I never posted about it. I’ll try to find time to actually bring it out for a photoshoot one of these days when I’m free (I do hope I’m free that is…) and post it’s picture. I know… Hate me for not posting any pictures now. =D

To Stay Devoted Or To End The Cycle?

Filed under: Anime, Figurines, Random, Rant — bj0rN @ 1:46

Chasing or running away?

I finally did a poll for once and do place your votes there. It’s on the right side at the navigation. And now to the main topic of this post…

Ever wonder if you’re going a little bit too far? Such that it is more than you can handle? I’ve not so far but after reading some interesting post lately, I’ve actually did some thinking…

For those who love figurines and actually buy them. Do you buy them because you got the cash? Or do you actually have to suffer by starving and saving every single cent that you can so that you can get them? Are you controlling your life and getting it as something you like? Or are you being controlled by it such as it affects your daily life? Is it because of your burning passion for animes? Or its just another endless cycle that you can’t get out of?

So… Which is better?
