I have to agree with most of those :3 , although i think Shana > Honoka , since Honoka is shana witha big tank in the desert
March 19th, 2007 at 0:33
I’LL KILL YOU! I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU! TWICE! WITH YOUR OWN INTESTINES!
March 19th, 2007 at 0:34
So The Third has better action than Black Lagoon?
March 19th, 2007 at 0:38
well~ it wasn’t decided by me anyway. they did loads of debates and discussion. of course i’m not satisfied with some of them but that’s the way it is..
March 19th, 2007 at 1:10
Ruki: the way i see it, shana is an undeveloped honoka with way less power…besides bogey wasn’t much use in the end
DrmChsr0: I’LL KILL YOU! BUT YOUR NOT WORTH FUCKING SO I’LL JUST KILL YOU! THRICE! WITH TRIPEMAN PLUSHIES!
tj han: it was close XD
March 19th, 2007 at 1:14
This makes me reliase that i need 2 rewatch alot of missing titles. LAWL!
-DrmChsr0: Must you go such a far extend?
March 19th, 2007 at 1:17
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, best at ANYTHING?
I’m going to go kill some bitch now. >:)
March 19th, 2007 at 1:48
I can agree with most of those, and I gotta gibe some compliments for recognizing Honoka as the best female character of 2006.
I would have picked Black Lagoon for best action, Magipoka for best fanservice/ecchi and at least something else for best OP/ED though.
But still, pretty good choices all around.

so er…_who_ made these decisions anyway, as in which bloggers? D=
March 19th, 2007 at 6:12
I never got to vote D: …guess I don’t lurk in #animeblogger enough
PS: I can see that the people who did vote liked Noein
March 19th, 2007 at 7:52
lolikit: in a way SHnY wasn’t the best at anything, but it had better than average scores in many departments, making it a very good all-rounder…that’s why i think it deserves to be best overall..
Ravage: it was originally going to be Black Lagoon…then i suggested The Third and it was a rather immediate hop over in the votes…Black Lagoon does have lots more action though…i wish Aria was eligible for best OP/ED XD
March 19th, 2007 at 8:51
Danny: Well~ People like Xak from XsynC and impz from THAT took part in the discussion.
March 19th, 2007 at 10:42
Well I haven’t heard some of these title.
Thanks for this I watched “Pale Cocoon”. And WOW. Visually Stunning. Really the best animation I have ever seen o.O (Psycho story though)

So, it was a jury-like congregation that decided these awards. Fair enough, most of them aren’t all that different from the ARC awards, but the ones that are, I generally approve of (particularly Bokura ga Ita winning an award). I dig High School Girls getting an award… I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought it was decent.

Pretty funny! Now you have to make the same “award ceremony”, but with the word “worse” instead of “best”! That can be pretty fun too!

Euerka 7?
I’m sorry you feel that this is a good mecha…but to each his/her own I suppose.
March 21st, 2007 at 23:33
Euerka 7? I only know of Eureka 7.
I’m sorry you fail to type properly…but to each his/her own skill I suppose.
March 22nd, 2007 at 2:21
Picking on people for typos…thats super-lame
March 22nd, 2007 at 7:33
Yeah I’m a very lame person. As a matter of fact, I’m so lame I’m crippled!
Bad jokes aside, I don’t mean anything Ultimaninja. It’s just a habit to correct grammar and spelling and punctuation of what i read acquired from having an English cum Literature teacher for a mother.
March 22nd, 2007 at 8:59
hahaha an english teacher for a mother, sucks to be you man xP
March 23rd, 2007 at 0:16
Not really. I grew up skipping the usual Enid Blyton little children type of novels and went straight into literature like “Boat People”. Now I’m hooked on reading and can’t imagine life without books. I could learn about particles and relevance theory and formulate my own explanation for Singapore Colloquial English particles, and develop a liking for puns. And get A1 for my English of course!
So I think I’d rather say: “Sucks to be you” to you instead, Deets.
March 25th, 2007 at 19:39
I don’t understad why shakugan no shana has the better OP/ED. You forgot Ergo Proxy guys… (Paranoïd Androïd by Radiohead in the Ending, and the most beautiful opening I’ve ever seen)
March 26th, 2007 at 22:49
First off,
1. I’ve Sound
2. KOTOKO
3. Kawada Mami
These are some really big names in the music. The directing for both the OPs was also quite astounding. Do note that we were not considering only on the music, but the animation and how they complement each other.
