i am suprised that you ranked claymore under hayate.. lol..
June 30th, 2007 at 1:05
OMG why is hayate there
where is Dennou Coil XD
Claymore should be 2nd
June 30th, 2007 at 1:06
Hayate was so-so… i prefer Claymore than Hayate personally

I would put Tengen Toppa Gurren Langan instead of Hayate for better action and humour. Besides, drills are a man’s romance.
I’d also rearrange the order somewhat, but that’s me being picky.

Hey what about Airantou?? suzu has pony!! It should be 1st
June 30th, 2007 at 3:10
Needs Gurren-Lagann, Bokurano and SaiMono 2nd season to go along with Lucky Star and Sola.

Wow we have different tastes. The only one I’m still watching is Claymore.

[z]en: it’s a matter of personal taste for me…i tend to prefer comedy over action…but i do have exceptions such as The Third
Kag: Dennou Coil looks to be good but i haven’t watched enuf to rate it higher than these 5 yet
MistaYoH: i like Hayate mostly cuz of the anime-only puns XD
seorang: true Gurren Langan is pretty funny but the recent Simon emo arc detracted it’s comedy for me
and i’m a lolicon, not a milf-lover XD
birdsAD: sadly Airantou is too close to the manga…even horie yui can’t save it from getting boring…
Ravage: See above for my comment on Gurren Lagann…as for Bokurano, it lost appeael after i read the manga…and though i loved Saiunkoku Monogatari and i should love Saiunkoku Monogatari 2 as well, it just isn’t as good as these that i’ve picked in my opinion
kiseki gurl: yep we should have different tastes…posts like this are meant to create items of discussion and exposure

I liked Hayate at first, but it has gotten dull for me, despite the outstanding voice-acting. Lucky Star does the animanga references a lot better, imo. Gurren-Laggen is a one-trick pony, in my opinion, and it’s not a trick I enjoy that much (mad energy and style). And Rabu-Con is just too darn frustrating for me. Not funny.
Hitohira was my top show of spring, with Lucky Star second. Seirei no Moribito deserves a lot of attention, too. Touka Gettan is unique and excellent. Darker than Black is also good, in its way, as is Claymore. And I’m beginning to realize the excellence of Dennou Coil. SaiMono is of course good. And I like Emily of New Moon, although others might not have any tolerance for the sort of “sappiness” I love.

Sola is just pure shit and where is dennou coil ?
June 30th, 2007 at 7:08
I forgot to say: I like sola, too.
June 30th, 2007 at 7:10
I agree about Sola (its my favorite of the season as well), but I thought you loved Bokurano, what happened there? I like Seto no Hanayome and Kaze no Stigma too.

Give me Lucky Star over Hayate any day, and I love LoveCom
Seirei no Moribito & Dennou Coil would be at the top of my list though.

hashihime: true the Lucky Star parodies are more common…but to me Lucky Star has had a roller-coaster appeal…some episodes were really good but some i sadly have to say were a bit meh…while for me Hayate was quite consistent…thought the best Lucky Star episodes are better than Hayate’s best, overall Hayate delivers more steadily
i haven’t gotten around to watching Hitohira yet but i liked wat i saw from one episode…but not enuf to rank it higher XD
and i love Touka Gettan too!!! one look and i immediately tot: “shit this is like yamibou and knm mixed together…super win XD”…but i waiting to marathon it all in one shot
Dennou Coil i feel it’s interesting but with only 2 eps watched for me it’s too early to say
41nano: say wat u will we clearly said this was our own view, we dun expect others to agree fully and we hope others can pick up some good shows they missed from us, just as we pick up from others
Deets: well the truth is…we both succumbed to temptation and read the manga XD Bokurano is like death note: once u’ve read the manga the anime becomes really stale…
Seto would definitely be in the 6th to 10th since it really has quite a humourous theme…but it just didn’t appeal to me more than my current top 5…same for Kaze no Stigma
Naddie: i like Seirei no Moribito too! but i feel the past few episodes have passed a bit too slowly…i lost the fire for it that i had when i started watching it…still good nonetheless though

I’ve determined my results as that, because I’m watched all the series and I’m fully sure of my own decisions.
