Ani-Kuri 15 is an event where anime directors and creators creates a short 1 minute animation to display their skills and style. And so I came across this particular work by Makoto Shinkai, who previously brought you Byousoku 5cm, and I’m such a big fan of his. To be honest, I’m not sure if this will even be an actual animation in the end but the preview looks good.

In my opinion, it’s a very interesting video. Then again, I’m such a cat lover. XD But as we can see, the style is still there and like always, the music is done by Tenmon.

Check this Lucky Star remix! It’s awesome! Actually, it’s quite old but I came accross an awesome MAD of it. Sadly, I can’t upload it in Youtube since its a 15 mins remix. But if you do want the video or the mp3, feel free to drop a comment and I’ll upload it or send it over.

Valentines Day is here once again. So I hope everyone would have a nice day! Be it with friends or someone you love. Just remember to stay true to youself and spread the love! I hope you all have made or gotten something nice for your friends and the one you love for this special day.

Valentine’s Day has emerged in Japan as a day on which women, and less commonly men, give candy, chocolate or flowers. It has become an obligation for many women to give chocolates to all male co-workers. In Japan this is known as giri-choko (義理チョコ), from the words giri (”obligation”) and choko, (”chocolate”). This contrasts with honmei-choko (本命チョコ); chocolate given to a loved one. Friends, especially girls, may exchange chocolate referred to as tomo-choko (友チョコ); from tomo meaning “friend”.

Anyway, I would like to wish everyone out there a Happy Valentines Day!

Well~ With SOY over and having the honor to be a judge for the event, it was fun. Congrats to Sister Kaya for winning the singles category and to the Trinity Blood cosplayers for winning the group category. Sadly, I’m busy with the event that I can’t really take pictures and do a coverage. Do check out moeside if you’re interested. Speaking of cosplay, I might be doing one at Cosfest 2008.

That side, CDS also had great sales that day. Thanks for supporting and buying the nice Nanoha and Fate prints. Just to let you guys in abit, CDS will have their official website up and running soon.
