Botan is now cosplaying as me (bj0rN-taN to b0taN?)  D=

And so I’m 3 months into my National Service and have completed my BMT (which was 3 days ago by the way). Right now, I’m enjoying my well deserved block leave and I guess I’ll be resuming to update this site often to redeem myself a little bit.

I’m also working on a new skin for the site with the help of mellow_bunny and hopefully I’ll be able to get it up and running soon. I would like you guys to drop me some suggestions on what you want to see on the new site. I’m trying to go something minimal like always and not to have too many flashy stuff on it. Perhaps I’ll stick to something similiar to the current theme (I also added a new banner if you haven’t noticed).

And so Charafest 2008 is coming up soon. 23 August 2008. Sadly, I can’t make it this time around or I’ll would have pulled off the same stunt that I did last year. =/

And so I managed to hijack an empty booth to promote myself for the “Meet the Bjorn” and “Bjorn Meets You” event and show my botak head at Cosfest. The event was rather average if you ask me. The only thing that impressed me was the improvement in the doujinshi booth and the singing competition. Like always, Rika owned everyone with her terrific performance. I’ll upload it next week as soon as I get back from the island of Tekong once again since I’m returning this evening. I’ll be at the event later today since its within distance to my reporting location.

That aside, do check out Moeside for his teaser photos for the event. He’s improving a lot as a photographer and hope that you’ll support him too.

Oh yeah, STCC was great too. Very proud of CDS as we did well for our sales like always. May we prosper more and be better. I couldn’t stay for the after event since I had to book in again. T-T

And also, congrats to Sharon for giving birth to a healthy boy yesterday. =)

Total of 29 people turned up for this spectacular event as we all got together to watch the screening of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone.

Well~ With SOY over and having the honor to be a judge for the event, it was fun. Congrats to Sister Kaya for winning the singles category and to the Trinity Blood cosplayers for winning the group category. Sadly, I’m busy with the event that I can’t really take pictures and do a coverage. Do check out moeside if you’re interested. Speaking of cosplay, I might be doing one at Cosfest 2008.

That side, CDS also had great sales that day. Thanks for supporting and buying the nice Nanoha and Fate prints. Just to let you guys in abit, CDS will have their official website up and running soon. Yes! We gathered to celebrate #SGAB’s 1st anniversary and we all gathered at Kado Man Restaurant at Grand Plaza Hotel to have a nice meal and have a great get together time. A total of 23 people turned up today as we ate and chatted the nigth away. Of course to introduce new faces to the community so that we can get along well with each other too!

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I sure did though it was quite embarassing for me since it’s my first time cosplaying. Since I was a cosplayer this time round, I didn’t managed to take any pictures except for some simple one with my camera phone. It was quite fun for me since I could hide away from fanboys and attack them without them knowing.

Makes me wish that I had my camera then…
