Well~ I met up with tsubaki by chance and damn~ It’s been awhile since I talked to him and all. Anyway, he’s clearing his figurines for some reasons and has decided to do a liquidation sale.

At long last, WAVE is going to release Souseiseki. Sculpted by CherryBlossom, this desu-master is no longer a resin exclusive figurine at long last. Scheduled to be released in October 2007, this beauty will be going for a price of around 5200 Yen. All you desu fans better get ready for her! You can check out the orginal resin cast here.

And now that DESU DESU is out… I think BOKU BOKU will be next!

Well~ At long last, the re-release of Alter’s Fate Testarossa is here in Singapore. So I had to rush down to get it since I preordered it.

The load of stuff. All of them are Alter’s Fate Testarossa. =\ The shop owner was quite suprised when I went to collect them though. But sadly, I don’t own all of them.

Of course, no one beared to open it up. So all we had was a picture of the box. -.-” I’m gonna get another one or two more to try and sell it off though. I shall find a nice day to go and do a photoshoot of her.

Well~ I was staring around in my room when I realised that I never finished up this particular post. Just want to say that it’s been fixed up a long time ago but it’s just that I never posted about it. I’ll try to find time to actually bring it out for a photoshoot one of these days when I’m free (I do hope I’m free that is…) and post it’s picture. I know… Hate me for not posting any pictures now. =D

Chasing or running away?

I finally did a poll for once and do place your votes there. It’s on the right side at the navigation. And now to the main topic of this post… 

Ever wonder if you’re going a little bit too far? Such that it is more than you can handle? I’ve not so far but after reading some interesting post lately, I’ve actually did some thinking…

For those who love figurines and actually buy them. Do you buy them because you got the cash? Or do you actually have to suffer by starving and saving every single cent that you can so that you can get them? Are you controlling your life and getting it as something you like? Or are you being controlled by it such as it affects your daily life? Is it because of your burning passion for animes? Or its just another endless cycle that you can’t get out of?

So… Which is better?

- One who remain devoted to the cause, and continue to collect
- One who gets out of the endless cycle and auction off all relics of the past

I met up with Umehiko yesterday to have a photoshoot for the CLAMP in 3D Land Trading Figurine that she got on her birthday. She’ll probably do more description on the figurines at her site. The weather was good and we headed down to Fort Canning Park for the photoshoot. Upon arrival, we climbed up the hill to get a good spot and started taking pictures. There will be some random pictures in this post of the area and other stuff besides the figurine so be prepared.

Oh yeah~ I also went to watch the sunset with her.

Ok~ Since I had nothing to do, I thought I might as well went ahead and complete the upper body. I stopped after doing the body and the head and now it’s time to do the arms. After purchasing the Zegapain Altair, it was finally time for me fix it up. So I got my lazy self to actually open up the box and do abit of it before I went to did my other stuffs. Since there will be quite alot of pictures, just click on the thumbnail for a closer look alright?

Not being an experience modeller, I still did it since I wanted to make it with my own hands and feel proud of it. I can’t wait for the other 2 Zegapains though. Ah well… So it went like this…

Let’s see… I had quite a long day today since I’m out since morning with Juice, Eugenics, bakavic and my friends. Basically, we just headed to Toy Room at Suntec City and my friend amazingly got himself the Dengeki Daioh August 2006 with the Shana figurine that I was looking for desperately. Seems like they still have 1 more copy of that and I felt a little dumb to have ran around Singapore like a maniac looking for it.

Anyways, we headed to Urban Attic to check things out and seems like most of the stuffs on the shelves are gone. And yes, more stuffs to be up this Sunday, so fellow otakus who wanna try their luck, go over! Currently about 30% of the stocks are cleared but they will be releasing bit by bit for sales each week, so do check it out! We actually went back at the end of the day just to help him out with arranging his stuffs in the shop and gave suggestions on what to do for the displays. Well, may they have good sales everyday to clear their stocks. (Of course please don’t sell away what I want till pay day!!! T_T)

Most of the stuffs are gone since last week.

Well… It’s a weekday so there isn’t much people. 

Hmm… Not related to Urban Attic anymore but we then headed to Anime and Hobby since it was near. For those who don’t know where is that, it’s at Excelsior.
