Yes. Due to my busy schedule and I guess it’s also the same for alot of people, I’ve decided to extend the deadline. Closing date shall now be on the 15th Feb. Voting takes place on 16 Feb to 29 Feb. Do check out the contest details for more info on the requirements.

Season 2 of AFM was great and another 3 months have past since the last competition. We’re now in the Winter Season, and so once again, AFM is back!

Anyway, I would like to have people to volunteer to do a CD cover too. Do contact me if interested.

ITS OPEN TO ALL!!!

Here’s the short list of rules:

• Three entries per person at maximum. The song can be from an anime, games or doujin. Of course parody versions and medley can be done too!
• Group entries are allowed too!
• One vote per person. I’ll just be using the normal wp-poll thing to keep track of votes, so vote for the best song!
• Email your entries (mp3 format) to bjorn_tan_88@hotmail.com. Maximum file size is 20MB. Make sure that it’s of good quality or it will be rejected. Please title it as “AFM Contest”.
• Entry deadline is January 31. Voting will begin on February 1 and last until February 15.
• The winners will be contacted and I’ll try to get them something nice.
• I’ll pay for postage within Singapore. Anywhere else and I’ll have to ask for help with payment for shipping.  

All entries will eventually be compiled into the AFM collection vol.3. Have fun!

I was just surfing around the official page for Kara no Kyoukai and came across the music section. It seems like Kalafina is tied up with Kajiura Yuki being the producer for the theme song of Kara no Kyoukai. I think there’s a total of 3 songs (each per chapter I guess?) and the theme song seems to be 「oblivious」.

It’s been some time since I last posted anything here, and with exams just around the corner, I didn’t think I’d be posting anytime soon. But I just happened to grab a copy of Animedia a few days back for the song book inside, and since there’s this little thing called Vocaloid 2 I thought I’d give it a try. It was painful with a total of ~140 bars for both songs, but thankfully there were repeats that I could just copy and paste. And so I now present Hatsune Miku singing メグメル~cuckool mix 2007~ and DAYBREAK’S BELL. I removed all vibrato from the voice so it might sound dead at times. Maybe I’ll play around with it more after I’m done with exams…now to sleep! Tomorrow is another day for studying!
